About our accompanied Tours and Holidays for travelers with restricted mobility.
Our door to door chauffeured tours for disabled people, are personalised, tailored around your specific needs, interests and budget, in exactly the same way as the tours throughout the rest of my website.

Escorted Tours include
Keukenhoff in the spring,  Amsterdam, Valkenburg and other towns and cities all year round and at Christmas time, the Xmas markets.

The extra thought and planning will take into account,
mobility and specific travel needs, ranging from assisting loading and unloading your electric wheelchair or mobility scooter to just giving you a hand navigating unavoidable steps and booking hotels with lifts.

Traveling in Holland
is relatively easy for disabled travelers, like everything else in this affluent and friendly country, Wheelchair users, people using walking aids and other mobility aids have been included right from the infrastructure planning stage. The same goes for access to restaurants, cafes and bars, most hotels, even the small older hotels have lifts. In any case we always use hotels and restaurants that do have facilities for disabled travelers.

Even Amsterdam, a city of many canals,
is mostly easy to get around with a wheelchair, like all villages, towns and cities in Holland  it's made for bicycle riders. The bridges over the canals are all easy to cross. In Amsterdam and some older Dutch cities access for wheelchair users is still a bit difficult in some areas, because  the cobbled streets can make it difficult for wheelchair users and people with mobility problems to travel along.  However most museums, government buildings, transport networks, places of interest to tourists and shopping centres are wheel chair friendly .

If you have mobility problems there really is no need to rule out any of  our accompanied tours to Holland, its a thoughtful, aware and mobility friendly country and we have escorted elderly people and folk with mobility problems on holiday many times before.

Please check out our tour pages and if you would like to discuss a short break, Holiday or a taylor made trip please contact Mike
